UNACCEPTABLE:
                                                ROT: Block acceptable if less than 50% defective.
                                                SWEEP: Not to exceed maximum diameter limit of 20".
                                                SIZE:  Undersize and oversize
                                                FORK, CROTCH, DOGLEG: Unacceptable.
                                                AGE: Less than 3 months - Grade 1,
                                                          Less than 6 months - Grade 2.
                                                BURNED: Load may be rejected.

GRADE #1:                            Must be produced from sound, live trees and be free
                                               of insect damage and diseased wood.
                                               Must contain less than 2% of net volume in rot./undersize.
                                               Must contain only accpetable species.
                                               Must be properly prepared, delimbed and free of brush.

GRADE #2:                            All pulpwood that does not meet Grade #1, must be
                                               less than 6 months old, and 5% or less rot.

                 The scaler will reject all loads of pulpwood containing more than 5% net
                 volume of unacceptable pulpwood, or loads of pulpwood which have
                 deteriorated due to age.   For defective bolts - volume may be deducted.
